A bill proposing a constitutional amendment requiring the State Lottery Commission to develop and sell a Veteran’s Lottery Ticket with proceeds directed to the Veterans Commission Capital Improvement Trust Fund has advanced out of the House Veterans Committee this week by a vote of 17-0. Another bill considered for advancement was House Joint Resolution 51, filed by Representative Kevin Elmer (R-Nixa), which proposes a constitutional amendment authorizing an exemption from property tax for certain property of active-duty military personnel stationed outside the country.
