Missouri lawmakers passed a bi-partisan tax reform package this week that would lower the state income tax rate for the first time in nearly 100 years. Shortly before the final vote, several members of the Missouri House of Representatives held a press conference with Speaker Tim Jones (R-Eureka) and House Majority Leader John Diehl (R-Town and Country) to announce their full support for broad based tax reform. The bill was delivered to Governor Jay Nixon’s (D) desk for approval Wednesday afternoon.
